Unless you are reading the writings of the Fathers, Saints and Doctors on your own, I highly suggest one use this aid to study if one desires to begin to grasp what the sacred scriptures mean. Although a highly-respected and sought-after resource, it is difficult to count the Navarre as a study Bible, however, for it is published more like a commentary set. Therefore, all of the supporting notes to the NT text refer frequently to the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) but equally to Holy Tradiiton and the deposit of faith which brings an immense unifying feel to the whole scriptural presence of the Church.
