This kind of change in national representation is more common than one might think, especially among those with dual citizenship. She is also the 2018 Commonwealth Games all-around silver medalist and the team and uneven bars bronze medalist. She became the first woman in Commonwealth history to retain her individual uneven bars title, winning gold in the uneven bars final in Birmingham. The “Godwin” was ratified this week, meaning it is now an official building block for routines on the uneven bar.
